Recently I came across kelp as a key player in many skin care remedies. Now I’m curious so diving in to discover more.

I found this amazing recipe and it instantly softened, reduced redness and brightened my skin.
Aloe Vera and Kelp face mask:
- Kelp powder which is readily available at your local health food store in bulk.
- Aloe vera gel. You can also consider squeezing juice of one aloe leaf of you want to go totally organic.
- Distilled water.
- Mix 2 tablespoons of kelp powder with about 1 tablespoon of water into a paste.
- Add the juice from one aloe leaf or two tbsp of the gel.
- Mix everything together.
- Apply to face and leave on for 20 minutes.
- Rinse off with warm water and pat your face dry. Follow up with your normal moisturizer but I didn’t feel the need to my skin was extremely soft:)

What a refreshing experience discovering this amazing algae. Found deep in the ocean packed with vitamins, minerals, antioxidants and so much more you cannot go wrong. Kelp is suitable for all skin types and works wonders for dry, flaky skin especially.
